Catholic Wedding and Tent Reception in Fishers, Indiana

Karlie and CJ had a perfect summer day for their Catholic wedding and tent reception held at Heritage Park in Fishers, Indiana. They made each other laugh constantly throughout their wedding day, even while sitting up in front of all their friends and family at the church. They held their ceremony at the magnificent Holy Spirit At Geist Catholic Church, and their reception was under a beautifully decorated tent at Fishers Heritage Park at White River in Fishers, Indiana. It was pretty hot and humid with the threat of rain looming over their day after a big storm rolled through the night before, but it held off, thank goodness!

Karlie’s dress was stunning with a high neck, open back, and covered in gorgeous lace. CJ looked pretty dapper himself in his navy suit. The bridal party wore long champagne colored dresses and matching navy suits. And they had a whole crew of 6 junior brides, including their adorable one year old daughter, Olive! Karlie walked down the aisle escorted by her dad and their sweet Olive. She was an absolute doll!

We took portraits just outside the church and at a nearby park. The wind was blowing her long veil and it just looked so dreamy! These ended up being some of my favorite photos of the day!

The reception was filled with lots of mingling, laughter, a photo booth, outdoor games, and of course, lots of dancing. Not to mention that we had an all-female vender crew working the reception, from the coordinator, to the DJ, to the bartender, to yours truly, and it was pretty badass if I do say so myself!

I am so glad I could pull them away for sunset portraits. They were both so relaxed and having a great time, it really exemplified how much they truly love each other and all the joy they bring to one another! And when the sun was setting at the park, the sky lit up a bright and vivid purple. It was so stunning!

They shared a private last dance and then we sent them off with a sparkler exit to soon enjoy their honeymoon in Key West, Florida!

I am so grateful they chose me to capture their day! Karlie and CJ, I wish you ALL the happiness for your future together and lots more little babies to raise. <3
